I am writing a review on behalf of my parents, because it will be some time until I'll be able to join the list of Mercedes Benz owners. I'm still driving around in a used 10 year old C class, anyways!

Top notch sales and service team, 3 of my parents cars were bought here, a luxury coupe, a SUV and most recently a Sport Compact SUV. The buying process was excellent, the staff was very helpful and did not have a "holier than thou" type attitude.

I was there buying touch up paint recently and they recently remodeled the showroom and moved the service dept all the way across the building, I was a little lost, but a impeccably dressed woman approached me (mind you i was dressed like a bum that day) and happily walked me over and even small talked with me about the renovations. It's the little things that really make service good.

Getting your car serviced at a dealership will always cost a lot more money than an independent shop. It's up to you to decide whether or not you want everything in your car to be top notched and perfect. I would never bring my 1999 C in here anymore because I don't mind having generic parts and not everything needs to be "perfect" (it's no C36 or 43, it's a 230k with an engine that sounds like a lawnmower), I can deal with the rattles here and there, but for drivers of the newer series Mercedes or higher end Mercedes, trust that you will getting the best service and attitudes for the money you pay, plus complimentary snacks, Wi-fi and all the cappacinos, espressos, hot chocolates you can drink while you wait!

I recently purchased a 2008 Audi RS4 from RAB Motors. At first I was very concerned since I had never purchased a high dollar value item on the Internet. The sale manager Daniel Cooper engaged with me very quickly. The professionalism of the people working for RAB quickly became apparent to me. It showed immediately that I am clearly not the first out of state purchaser they have had dealings with. Their patience and reassurance while making this deal made me feel very comfortable. After all wiring a large sum of money to an unknown dealer is not an easy task. I did my own background check on the dealership and even contacted some previous out of state buyers in ebay who had purchased from RAB in the past. They both had great experiences too. I also called Ebay and spoke to them about RAB and inquired that they had only one bad review among many. So I made the purchase. I am glad I did. The car well surpassed my expectations for a second hand car. The product received was exactly what RAB had advertised. All the paper work and records were clean and matched the product. I was missing an Ipod adapter upon delivery and they immediately ordered me and sent it to me. I have to say that if I ever buy another vehicle on Ebay or Internet it will definitely be from RAB.

The only disappointment is that I do not live in the area to have my cars maintained by RAB Motors.

Daniel and his team are amazing and I congratulate them all in a great customer service.

I purchased a new C250 Mercedes this week at RAB Motors in San Rafael through the Internet Sales Dept. The sales staff, especially Amal, were highly professional, very well informed, patient, and courteous. RAB was also very competitive on price and fair and square in the financial details of the sale. Overall it was an excellent car buying experience.

I am very pleased with the new C250. We were able to drive the pre-owned C300 and compare to the C250. The time spent enabled us to get the car that is right for our needs.

This review has been long overdue & I just now got my 2nd car from RAB Motors with all the help of Barry Flores and his team.. This is the only dealership I would trust, hands down. I called other dealerships throughout the Bay Area and no one would even dare give me a quote over the phone, they will persuade you to set up an appointment to come in for a test drive, listen to their sales pitch and then you're trapped..
I'm very impressed with Barry's professionalism, great deal of patience and excellent customer service... I would highly recommend Barry because he listens, he's very knowledgeable & willing to work with your needs.

We purchased about 6 cars from RAB since 1995 and we were always happy with the quality of service we received from RAB. Phil is a great sales guy to work with! in my opinion he is always honest and down to earth kinda guy. Parts department is also good, always helpful. Service dept is also very good, they can schedule you in very fast and my service adviser from Mary to Roberto to Maerk are all very helpful and I can always get my car back within a day or two max.

I've purchased two new Mercedes from RAB. Both times, we were treated well and negotiated fair prices. I did't think of them when looking for my 16 year old's first car. That changed after spending time with Herbert Schonian. Herbert spent a lot of time with my son and I, on a number of occasions. He explained, in detail, the benefits of buying a used car which had be throughly inspected by his mechanics. After several months of window shopping, we settled on a well maintained VW Jetta which a RAB customer had recently traded in

Herbert has worked with us on all three of our transactions at RAB. We've never felt pressured or not listened to. I highly recommend Herbert Schonian at RAB Motors

Three years ago bought a GLK from RAB and an X5 from their competitor Sonnen. Felt good about the GLK deal, and loved the car. Felt duped by Sonnen - especially re. promises about loaners during service. RAB was great with service/loaners over the last 3 years. So - just bought a new GLK and a new GL from them a few days ago. Did my homework very carefully, and they gave me a straight up, honest front line deal. Really upstanding through the process - they were fair and also stayed by all their promises. Service A+. RAB is honestly the best car dealer I have gotten cars from in 30 some odd years.

I recently purchased a Mercedes M-350 through Barry Flores, R.A.B.'s internet fleet manager. Barry was honest, conscientious, and easy to work with. He quickly located the exact car I wanted, and was very straightforward with the numbers, including incentives provided to the dealers by Mercedes (as opposed to at least one other Bay Area dealership that never mentioned the Mercedes' incentives for other luxury car trade-ins.) Barry continues to be in contact, even though I have now owned the vehicle for a month, and even volunteered to come to the city to get my car to install an additional item I purchased. I checked out several Bay Area dealerships, and R.A.B.'s prices were the most competitive. Barry even went so far as to go over various extended warranty options that he thought might work best for me, when I was considering the wrong ones.

I would definitely recommend R.A.B., in general, and Barry Flores, in specific, if you are looking for a new SUV or other luxury car.

Rab Mercedes Benz just rocks!!

This week I brought my car in for my complementary detailing. While at the dealership, I was talking to my sales advisor about buying another Benz, perhaps a CL 63 AMG or E63 AMG sports car that would give me that true sports car power and feel like a Porsche, Corvette or Ferrari. He encouraged me to install a sprint booster on my current car that would cost me 400.00, but would give me that extra power at a minimal price.

As an incentive he said that RAB would install the booster on my car and give me whatever time I needed to test it out. If I liked it, I would pay for it, if not, it would be taken out without any charges to me.

Within a short period of waiting, my booster was installed and my beautifully detailed car (90 minutes of work) was ready to roll ......the best part was that I did not pay a cent.

Talk about customer service.........I wish all car dealerships treated their customers with this outstanding service!!

That booster that was installed is just super!! It feels like I have an extra 30 to 40 more horse power since my car is now more responsive.

We recently purchased a ML350 from RAB and it was possibly the best experience we've had at a car dealership. Like most, my wife and I are generally skeptical and wary each time we walk into a car dealership. Having an affinity to german luxury cars, we generally just had to deal with the sub-par customer service. Not at RAB Motors.

We had scheduled an appointment with Barry, but last minute asked him if we could come in a day earlier since we were already in the area. Although he already had appointments that time, he asked his colleague Amal to help us. Amal was great. He provided exceptional customer service and didn't try to pressure us at any time. Needless to say, we walked out of the dealership with a ML350 feeling extremely happy with the transaction.

Overall, we were very impressed with RAB Motors and look forward to continue doing business with this dealership.

I recently purchased a pre-owned Mercedes CLK BEFORE it had been advertised. I stumbled upon its carfax order report and called the dealership right away. I called on two separate occasions and spoke to a gentleman named Phil who offered to show me the car first thing the next morning. I called again a few moments later to get his direct line and spoke to a woman who informed me that I would not be able to see the car until a week and a half from now since it had not been detailed and completely checked yet. I didn't want to drive over an hour out of my way just to talk about a car I couldn't see/test. I eventually spoke to Phil again who assured me that although the car wasn't advertised I'd get a peek at it and he was able to show it to me. I came to the dealership excited but skeptical that I could get what I was looking for within my budget. Well, lo and behold...It was everything I wanted. So... big question. HOW MUCH? Well, after the typical friendly battle of car negotiations I walked away feeling fantastic about the car and price. Car salesman are notoriously unpleasant sharks to deal with, but Phil was nothing of the sort. He didn't push me and worked with me (more than any car salesman I've ever met) until we came to an agreement. Phil is genuinely a kind individual who I found out had worked for a record label in San Francisco in the 60's. Perhaps you can attribute that to his mellow nature. My 5 star rating is attributed to the cleanliness, service, and quality of this dealership as well as the service I received during the recent visit. Ask for Phil Goldbeck! Honestly, he was one of the friendliest, unobnoxious car salesmen I've ever met and it was actually a PLEASURE purchasing my car from him and RAB Motors. Good Luck!!!

I recently purchased a certified CLK 550 convertible from RAB. RAB are quite a long way away from where I live so I wanted to understand what I was in for before driving there. Daniel from the Internet sales team described the process, the likely trade in value for my car, and the condition of the CLK 100% accurately. Daniel specifically, along with the entire RAB team were very professional and I commented before leaving that purchasing the car from RAB was the best car purchase I had ever experienced. Upon arriving home I found an issue with the convertible top. I called Daniel back and he arranged for someone from RAB to drive to my house, pick up my car, fix the issue, and return my car, all free of charge. I simply could not be happier with the service from RAB.

Looking for a Mercedes? Look no further than Daniel Cooper and the Internet sales dept. At RAB Motors in Marin. I was treated like the only customer in the world. Daniel and his team greeted me at the door, guided me through the test drive and had me out the door with my new Mercedes in about an hour and a half. WOW. Great follow up as well. I don't usually review anything, especially a car dealer, but in this case I thought it worth mentioning.

5 Stars to RAB motors for an excellent customer experience that I had with these guys. Right from an A class salesmanship to an even better customer satisfaction post sale.
A week back I bought an R350 where Amal Boumouch did his best to help me not only get a very nice car but a good APR, some gifts for my pregnant wife and represented a rare but warm salesmanship.
Later the same week, I had to bring back my car due to some engine vibrations and I was pleasantly surprised with RAB motors after sales professionalism. Mark Sache the service manager is just great..He is a very soft and warm personality and made my service experience just great.
I would highly recommend RAB motors and especially their Internet sales team.

I highly recommend the Internet Sales Department Department of RAB. I conatcted them online and worked with Amal and Daniel Cooper. I went in with the intention of buying a car for my wife but after their patient and courteous demonstration and description of all their inventory and flexible pricing I ended up buying 2 cars. Could not have been a more positive experience before during and after purchase. I have only been to the service department twice but both times I was treated very courteously, loaner car ready and car ready on time. During the holidays I was shopping for a new car. The MBZ dealers nearby were rude, kept me waiting, talked down to me and pressured me to buy what they had not what I wanted. I looked at the R.A.B. website, and then spoke with Amal on the phone. He LISTENED to me, hunted for "my" car, returned my call, and I went to Marin to get it- and at a better price than any local dealer . I am super happy with the professionalism and courtesy of Amal and the other folks I met at R.A.B. They are well worth the drive.

After some research my wife and I decided to buy a new (to us) low miles Saab 95 Wagon. I came upon RAB's posting on E-Bay (later on Craigslist, and cars,com) of a 2005 Saab 95 Wagon. The web postings gave me all the details about the car (with lots of pictures) and it's history that lead us to put RAB into the running for our purchase.

Having previously purchased a car on E-bay (2500 miles from my home, but only 200 from my parents house) I was very comfortable narrowing my search down via the web. I called Daniel Cooper at RAB about the car and how they would handle my trade in (a 98 MB E-320 wagon). Being about 120 miles from home wasn't an issue for the right vehicle with the right seller. I headed off to do some activities in Napa and called Daniel to check out the Saab.

I was more then pleased to see that the pictures from the web posting matched the car to a T. I had previously spoken to Daniel about their Internet price (and it was more then fair for the Saab). Amal Bouhmou of RAB was available to show me the car and take me on a test drive that would match the hills of Placerville.

The car dove great and Amal helped me figure out the details of the transmission. As the car meet our needs we headed back to deal with the purchase. The transaction went super smoothly as I already had found out the cars price. While we were on our test drive they checked out my MB 320 wagon and the trade in price was close to my expectations. After a few minutes of negotiations we finalized the deal and the paper work took almost no time.

The gas tank was filled up for me and the car detailed as we finished the paper work. The car buying experience ranks with the best I have ever had (out of about 12 purchases).. Both Daniel and Amal were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend RAB, Daniel and Amal if you are interested in an honest group that price their vehicles fairly and make the transaction effortless.

This place is great! A couple weeks ago I took my ML320 in for some recall work on a power steering hose from about 2 years back and was concerned that (a) the recall campaign was 2 years ago, (b) I didn't buy the car from them, and (c) My SUV is 11 years old with 188k miles, none of which were maintained by them. Called them up and setting up an appointment was a breeze. I was set up with one of the service advisers Mark, and he was great. Told me not to worry about anything and that he would take care of my recall work, and any other ones that might not have been performed previously. They didn't have any courtesy cars in stock so they offered me a free enterprise rental. To my surprise, the rental was a Mercedes C300 and not some random Chevy Aveo or the like. My repair took them about a day since they had special order a part, but I didn't mind since I had the rental. It turned out that even though I went in for just the power steering hose, they ended up persuading MBUSA to replace my power steering pump FREE of charge because it was making a noise due to that hose recall. Mark kept me updated about the status of my repair and when everything was complete, pick-up was a breeze. They even washed my car for me. Service there is 5 stars all the way!

I have purchased several cars from RAB and the sales and service staff have been friendly and helpful. I am always wary at dealerships and expecting to get swindled somehow, but this was not the case at RAB, they were genuinely proud of their product and it showed.

I guess each persons experience or perception can vary but I must say, i have always received prompt, courteous, professional service from RAB. No they are not perfect, but they stand behind what they do and always do the right thing in handling my concerns. They have never done anyting to jeopardize my trust and if you take the time to price shop, you'll find that they are quite competitive

eliseo is our service guy, he is prompt and always gives us a mercedes benz to drive when our car is in. The service techs are somewhat average. we seems to have to bring the car in 2 times for 1 problem. 2003 was not a good year for mercedes, it might not have anything to do with them...

My wife and I just purchased our first Mercedes-Benz. We found the car on the internet and it was a Certified Pre-Owned 2007 SL550. Spending this amount of money without test driving is disconcerting but the fact it was Certified Pre-Owned, had a clean Car-Fax report and the supplemental information provided by the dealer was enough for us to proceed. While buying over the internet carries its own set of risks it does eliminate the physiological pressure of dealing with a salesman in person. Daniel Cooper and his internet sales team were professional and patient and if the car and this experience continues to be positive as it has been so far we would have no problem recommending RAB motors and the sales team.

Maximillian and Barry both worked with me in the most efficient and delightful car sale I have ever had. And fast. The operation was extremely streamlined with warm, helpful and funny people at each step of the process. I have never been so impressed, and pleased with a new car transaction. The staff were respectful, helpful and very competent and professional. I cannot say enough good and positive things about my entire experience at the dealership.
